The tour begins in the very heart of the city, at the Palace of Culture and Science. From here, we move west toward the neighbouring Wola district, passing some of Warsaw’s most striking symbols of modern architecture — including Złota 44, Europe’s tallest residential building, and the nearby Varso Tower, the tallest building in the European Union.

Once an industrial zone filled with factories and warehouses, Wola has transformed into Warsaw’s new business hub. Here, remnants of old industrial buildings stand side by side with glass skyscrapers, creating one of the city’s most dramatic contrasts.

Traces of the Past in a Changing City

Amid this architectural patchwork, you’ll encounter a modern residential complex that incorporates an original fragment of the Warsaw Ghetto Wall. This powerful reminder marks the area where the Jewish Ghetto existed between 1940 and 1943.

The first part of the tour concludes at Rondo Daszyńskiego, the vibrant center of today’s Warsaw business district.

By Metro to the Vistula River

Next, we take the metro to the Vistula Boulevards — one of the city’s most popular meeting places and still a hidden gem for many visitors.

In this lively riverside area, you’ll see landmarks such as the Copernicus Science Centre, the rooftop garden of the University of Warsaw Library, and Elektrownia Powiśle, a former power station turned into a modern shopping and dining complex with a large food hall and stylish bars.
